Alice Jean Largent, the daughter of William and Serena (McQueen) Largent, was born June 23, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts and departed this life on March 29, 2021, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 6 days.
Alice enjoyed working as an RN and was the charge nurse for W.W. Hastings ER for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, (though she never cooked a meal the same way twice), watching cooking shows, and shopping. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Alice touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Janet Largent.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her spouse Rick Medlin of Tahlequah; her children Brandy Shackelford and Jeff of Muskogee, Josh Gray and Micaela Sabala of Oklahoma City, and Preston Gray and wife Danyelle of Poteau; her grandchildren Kyrra McQueen, Dalton Buchanan and Laken Luellen, Hiram Wyatt Shackelford, Kierstn Gray, Hayden Gray, and Kash Gray; and her great-grandchildren Kamden Buchanan and Amberlee Buchanan. Several friends and other relatives also survive her.
