Alma Ferguson

Alma Denise Ferguson age 63, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at her home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Hart Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.

Alma Denise Ferguson was born June 24, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Bill and Georgia (Warren) Terrell. She grew up in Tahlequah and graduated from the Tahlequah High School in 1977. Alma also attended Northeastern State University. She was homemaker, a cake decorator at Walmart and was also a Certified Nurses Aid working at several different nursing facilities. Alma was a great cook, story teller and had several hobbies including painting, wood carving and candle making. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two children Lucas Sweet and wife Ashley of Tahlequah, Erin Craig and husband Wesley of Tahlequah; one sister Ramona Holt of Tahlequah; two brothers Joel Thompson of Tulsa and Bill Thompson of Claremore; Grandchildren Kylee Sweet, Ashla Sweet, Cameron Sweet, Fynton Sweet, Ella Sweet, Zane Sweet, Cash Craig and Evangeline Craig and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and one brother.
