Alma Glenn

Alma Jean Glenn the daughter of George and Lottie (Davis) Hicks was born September 23, 1922 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 27, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 96 years, 9 months and 4 days.

Alma enjoyed life and she loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a great cook and baked some of the best pies and cakes around. She loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church and spending time with her church family. She was involved in The Memorial Drive Church of Christ in Tulsa for many years. She enjoyed selling western wear, and she met several celebrities during this time. Alma touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rufus Glenn; her son Dennis Glenn; her brothers Herman Hicks and Bud Hicks; and her sisters Lorene Henderson and Pauline Coursey.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her son Kenneth Glenn of Owasso; her sisters Maxine Swyden of Tulsa and Ann Dorr and husband Jerry of Tahlequah and her granddaughter Ginger Glenn of Tulsa. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
