Anna Mae Buzzard

Anna Mae Buzzard, 93, a resident of Tahlequah, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. she was born in Tahlequah on January 1, 1932 to the late Sam Cobb and Mary (McDaniel) Cobb.

Funeral Service will be 1 PM, Monday, November 3, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home, burial to follow at Manus Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1 PM until 5 PM at Hart Funeral Home.

Anna was a devout Christian  and a faithful member of Shirley Springs Free Holiness Church. She devoted over 60 years, until the age of 90 fostering children. She spent several years as a schoolteacher. Anna loved living on her farm and tending to her cows, she especially enjoyed going to garage sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Daniel "Danny" Buzzard, daughter, Tonya Still, infant granddaughter, Amy Beth Snell, siblings, Evelyn Manners, Jessie "Pete" Duffield, Alvaba Adair, and Verna Caviness.

Survivors include her children, Nancy Willis, Janet Jarrett, David Craig, and Scott Buzzard, grandchildren, Christin (Scott) Rupert, Eric (Sheila) Jarrett, and special grandson, James Sanders, great-grandchildren, Abram Jarrett, Braxton Rupert, Adrianna Jarrett, and Bailey Rupert, special family members and their families, Rachel (William) Gregory, Kimberly (Lucky) Wheeler, and Crystal Celmons, along with many nephews, nieces, and extended loving family members and friends.
