Anna Claudine James

Anna Claudine James, age 77, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Born on May 24, 1949, Anna was the beloved daughter of the late John Edward Ballard and Lula Catherine (Jones) Ballard.

Anna lived a full life filled with cherished moments and joy. She was a vibrant spirit who found happiness in simple pleasures-whether it was playing bingo at the casino, hunting for treasures at yard sales, or enjoying quiet evenings watching movies on television. Above all, Anna treasured her time spent with family, creating a legacy of love and warmth that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her beloved son, Shane Robinson, and siblings Laraine Eden, Rosa Ballard, Debbie Davis, Johnny Ballard, Miller Ballard, and Christopher Jones.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Kimberly) Robbins; her brother, Alva Ballard; her sister, Barbara Ziyada; as well as several cherished nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends who will remember her for her infectious laughter and kind spirit.

Anna Claudine James will forever be remembered for her boundless love, her vibrant spirit, and her steadfast dedication to family. May she rest in peace.
