Arno Gann, 49, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Arno was born May 9, 1976, in Tahlequah, to the late Joe Gann and Diane Jo Smith. He graduated from Sequoyah High School in May of 1995. He furthered his education at Northeastern State University and earned a master’s degree in business. He also received a master’s degree in science and psychology from Oklahoma State University. While attending OSU, he completed an Automotive Collision Repair Technology program, where his passion for working as an Automotive Painter Technician began.
Arno was the biggest 49ers football and Portland Trail Blazers basketball fan. He loved playing stickball and horseshoes and competed in many tournaments. He had a passion for painting cars, football helmets, and anything else he could get his hands on. His prized possession was his 1987 Chevy Blazer. He loved his cats and enjoyed playing with them.
Arno will be remembered for his unique personality, his infectious laugh, his kind heart, and his willingness to always help. Arno knew who he was and left an impact on every person he encountered. He was proud of his three kids and always spoke with love and adoration about them. He loved spending time on his PlayStation 5, whether is being video games or playing videos for his cats. He will always be known for the love he shared with his family and friends.
Arno is survived by his daughter, Brianna Fields; his two sons, Garrison Fields and Ryan Fields; his sister, Lynzi Smith, and her husband, Chayse Barger; his brother, Mitchell Smith; his niece Kennah Cortes; his nephews, Zaylin Barger and Jacob Barger; and many extended family members and friends.
There will be a visitation at Hart Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Hart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.
