Ataloa Hoenes

Ataloa Lane Hoenes the daughter of Raymond Kaniatobe and Lucille (Hummingbird) Kreighbaum was born February 17, 1956, in Loma Linda, California and departed this life on June 22, 2020, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 5 days.

Ataloa was a hard worker who was very dedicated to her job. She has worked at the College of Optometry for over 30 years. She loved OU and was a big fan of OU Football. Ataloa was a special lady who touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters Cynthia Lucio, Caroline Kaniatobe, and Wahillau Kaniatobe.

She is survived by her husband Richard Hoenes of the home; her children Lindsey Blakley of Tahlequah and Adam Wallace; her sisters Betty Kosterlistzkey of Stilwell, Jennie LaRoe of Highland, CA and Walletta LaCapa and husband Demetrius of Tahlequah; and her grandchildren Andrew Wallace, Canaan Cole and Beckham Chrestman. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
