Barbara Forrest

Barbara Ann Forrest the daughter of Charles Benjamin and Mary (Childress) McReynolds was born July 29, 1946 in Cherokee County and departed this life on January 8, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 10 days.

Barbara loved life and her family was most important to her. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and taking pictures. Barbara touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Dwayne McReynolds, Paul McReynolds and Doug McReynolds; and her sisters Jean Baughman and Carolyn Barnett.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Tommy Forrest of the home; her children Dugan Forrest and wife Melinda of Colcord, Christine Rogers of Coweta, and Steven Forrest and wife Angela of Tahlequah; her brother Joe McReynolds and wife Carol of Oklahoma City; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
