Bennie Smith

Bennie Junusee Smith the son of Danny Boswell and Stacy Johnson was born July 12, 1939 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 4, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 23 days.

Bennie married the love of his life Louella Candy Jones and they spent over 60 years together. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed working with his hands and he did carpentry work along with being a truck driver for many years.
Bennie loved baseball and understood the game well enough that he made a great baseball coach for his sons as they grew up. Bennie always wanted a big family and his family was his pride and joy.
He loved music and was a great musician. Bennie touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife of over 60 years Louealla Candy Smith; his children Doris Moore of Muskogee, Alan Smith and wife Claudia of Fontana, CA, Ferlin Smith of Redlands, CA,
Carolyn Ochoa and husband Sam of Adelanto, CA, Russell Smith of Tahlequah, Connie Smith of Tahlequah, Aaron Smith of Kingman, AZ, Jeff Smith and wife Courtney of Harrison, AR, and Gabe Smith and wife Amanda of Harrison, AR;
his sister Lou Readdy of Muskogee; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends, cousins, and other relatives also survive him.
