Betty Findley

August 13, 1925 — February 24, 2022

Betty Nell Findley was born August 13, 1925 to her parents Ruben W. Ray and Esther J. Ray in Pawnee, OK.
Betty earned her pilots license at the age of 14 through her father, who instructed pilots during World War II. Later, Betty went on to college and earned her Bachelor's degree from Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois. After college, Betty met and married Lester Don Findley of Cleveland, OK on May 5, 1950. They were married 64 years until his homegoing on September 30, 2014. Betty was a homemaker her entire life, except for six years that she and Don owned an OTASCO (Oklahoma Tire and Supply Company) store in South Central Oklahoma.
Betty accepted Christ as her savior in October 1983. Betty was faithful to church the rest of her life, and a member of Liberty Baptist Temple upon her homegoing. Betty will be laid to rest at Rosewood Cemetery; north in Porter, Texas, next to her husband.
