Betty Price

Betty Ruth Thompson Price the daughter of Ralph R. and Dovie Elzada Thomas McElroy was born June 26, 1933 in Rose, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2014 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 27 days.

Betty enjoyed life and loved the Lord. Some of her most favorite things were singing gospel songs or going to Gospel Concerts. Church meant a lot to Betty and she loved going to church and she was a very supporting wife of her husband of over 40 years Rev. Lee Thompson and his ministry. She also enjoyed cooking, reading and just visiting with her friends and family. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. Betty touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Rev. Lee Thompson her sisters Thelma McElroyFreeman and Cleo McElroyEllinger her brothers Jeff McElroy, Joe McElroy, John Osburn and Walter Osburn and her husband Mack Price.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her son Wade Lee Thompson and wife Donna of Broken Arrow her step children Louise PriceReed and husband Fred and Kenneth Price all of Sand Springs her grandchildren Ronnie Thompson of Broken Arrow and Jeff Thompson of Hiram, GA and 4 great grandchildren Hailey Thompson, Jack Wade Thompson, Savannah Thompson, and Aaron Lee Thompson.
