Betty Ward

Betty Louise Ward the daughter of R.L. and Elsie (Mullin) McCulloch was born December 3, 1938 in Blackwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 16, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 13 days.

Betty loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed arranging flowers around the house and working in her garden planting flowers. She was a 20 year Navy wife and raised three boys. She enjoyed going to auctions, re-finishing furniture and going bowling. She was a graduate of Blackwell High School. Betty touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence Ward; and her brother Robert McCulloch.



She is survived by a loving family which includes her sons Ron Ward of Tahlequah, Michael Ward of Tahlequah and Darren Ward and wife Tonia of Claremore; her granddaughter Katelyn Louise Buzzard and husband Jonathan of Claremore; and her great grandchildren Nokuse Buzzard and Elliot Buzzard. Several friends and other relatives also survive her.
