Billy Monks

Billy Glenn Monks, 78, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born on August 30, 19417 in Poteau, OK., to the late Bill Burdick and Odie (Patterson) Burdick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by his wife, Karen Monkls, and son-in-law, Bradford Girdner.

Survivors include his children, Chris (Helene) Monks, Suzanne (Chuck) Pullen, Tamara Monks, and Karrie Girdner, siblings, Randy Burdick, Linda (Keith) Blair, and Kathy Worshum, grandchildren, Amber Monks, Katherine Monks, Elana Monks, Miranda Monks, Hadleigh Pullen, John Monks, Mason Monks, Allison Smith, and Isaac Monks, great-grandchildren, Stryder Smith, and Isla Smith, along with nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held later.
