Billy Lawton Spradlin the son of Walter Lawton and Wilma Louise (Thompson) Spradlin was born April 29, 1945 in Cherokee County and departed this life after a lengthy battle of illness on May 14, 2018 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years and 15 days.
Bill enjoyed life and he loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Bill enjoyed hard work and loved working on the farm with his cattle and his horses. He enjoyed riding horses and he loved to hitch his team of mules up to the wagon and go riding. Just spending time outside on his farm with his family was a day well spent in Bill's eyes. He enjoyed coon hunting and raising game chickens. He enjoyed the chicken fights and ran the Moody game club for several years until they had to shut down. Bill touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Billy Eugene Spradlin; his daughter-in-law Cindy Ann Spradlin; his sisters Verbia Cheek and Vickie Jefferies; his brother Bobby Spradlin and his great granddaughter Kaylynn Mae Dallis.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife and best friend Anna Mae Spradlin of the home; his children Beverly Ann Wikel and husband Randy of Hulbert, Bonnie Sue Rotramel and husband Orville of Tahlequah, Brenda Kay Spradlin Ollice and husband Bobby of Georgia, and Betty Mae Capps and husband Mark of Lost City; his siblings Buddy Spradlin of Peggs, Verna Osburn of Stilwell, Velma Davis and husband Jerry of Tahlequah, Virginia Taylor of Tahlequah and Valerie Spradlin of Broken Arrow; 18 grandchildren and 41great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
