Bob Moore

Bob Moore the son of Howard and Opal (Vanderpool) Moore was born October 10, 1940 in Tailholt, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 3, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 24 days.

Bob spent all of his life in Cherokee County and started a business with his brother, Moore Brothers Floor Covering. They ran their business for many years before selling in 2000 and retiring. Bob spent the last 17 years enjoying
life and having some good times. Bob enjoyed piddlin' with old cars. He has re-stored several over the years and was currently working on an old Volkswagon. Bob spent a lot of time on his front porch just sitting and enjoying God's
creation. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a teaser and loved antagonizing the kids, but he loved them dearly and they love him. He loved to play golf and he and his
brother-in-law Harvey Coles shot many games together until Harvey passed away, now Bob has joined him on the fairways of Heaven. Bob touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Bill Moore and his brother-in-law Harvey Coles.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Dorothy Moore of the home; his sons Gene Moore of Coweta and Doug Moore of Tahlequah; his sister Oleta Coles of Tailholt; his brother Jerry Moore and wife Sissy of Kiefton;
his grandchildren Bradley Moore, Heather Moore, Devin Jones and husband Shawn, and Emily Moore and fiancé Josh Hammill; and his two great grandchildren William Moore and Savannah Moore.
