Bobby Ellis

Bobby Dean Ellis the son of John Alta and Rossie Lavada (Satterfield) Ellis was born July 3, 1949, in Dumas, Texas and departed this life on September 25, 2020, in Hulbert, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 22 days.

Bobby enjoyed life and loved his family. He enjoyed the outdoors whether he was hunting, fishing or shooting guns. He enjoyed working on guns and had a gun shop for a while. He earned his Bachelor's Degree and taught school at Norwood and retired from Wagoner Public Schools. Bobby touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Aurthur Ellis, Dub Ellis, Lloyd Ellis and GD Ellis; and his sisters Vernice Miller, Opal Broom and Clara Weatherford.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife of nearly 50 years Melinda Ellis of the home; his son Brian Ellis of Hulbert, his sisters Genevieve McIntosh of Borger, TX and Jewell Benge and husband Dewey of Hulbert; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.

Pallbearers for Bobby are: Tom Buford, Braxton Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Bill Green, Mark Davis, and Dale Wallace.
