Bonnie Marie Vann, aged 76, quietly passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Born on December 23, 1948, in Jacksboro, Texas, Bonnie was the cherished daughter of the late Lloyd and Nina (Brandon) Heter.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM, Friday, August 8, 2025 at Hart Funeral Home, burial to follow at Tahlequah City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 PM until service time.
Throughout her life, Bonnie exemplified kindness and resilience. She dedicated 30 years of her career to the Oklahoma State Employment Commission, where her commitment to helping others shone through in all that she did. Bonnie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was embarking on travels, forging new friendships, or reveling in the thrill of trips to the casino.
Bonnie's family was her world. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "Pete" Vann Jr., and her brother, Charles Traynor.
Leaving behind cherished memories are her daughter, Marcia Vann; her grandchildren-Beth Hansen, Travis Klotzke, Kori Klotzke, and Brooke Klotzke; and her great-grandchildren- Jhon , Summer, Gracey, Kelcy, Vanille, Russell, Yona, John, William, Alaina, Isabell, Wylder, and Julian. She is also survived by her brother, Alan Heter, and her sister, Anita Potts, along with a multitude of loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
As we remember Bonnie, we take comfort in the memories of her laughter, warmth, and unwavering love. She will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy will continue through the lives she touched.
