Brandon Eugene Adair, lovingly known as "Bub." Bub was born on September 19, 1983, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Eugene and Terrye Adair. He departed this life on October 22, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Bub was known for his infectious laugh - the kind of laugh you could hear from a distance and that brought instant joy to everyone around him. His laughter was unforgettable, especially to his beloved momma, who held a special place in his heart.
Bub loved the outdoors, and there was no place he would rather be than down at the creek. That was where you could find him most of the time, enjoying the simple things in life. He was never much a fan of school, and he once told his teacher, "I can hunt, I can fish, and I can clean it. What more can you teach me that I don't already know?" That statement perfectly captured Bub's personality, his confidence, and his love for the things that mattered most to him.
Although Bub answered to many names, the one he treasured most was Uncle Bub. He loved his niece Kaylei Rae and his nephew Shiye Wayne dearly and being their uncle was a role he held close to his heart.
Bub was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Sudie Adair, his uncle Haney, his grandmother Eula Goodnight, lovingly known as GG, and his uncle Keith Goodnight.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife Jeni Melton Adair, his parents Eugene and Terrye Adair of Hulbert, his poppy Dub Goodnight of Tahlequah, his sister Aubrey, her husband Billy Soban of Hulbert, niece Kalei Rae Cannon, and nephew Shiye Wane Soban of Hulbert, along with many other loving family members and friends.
As we gather to say our final goodbyes, may we remember not only the life Bub lived, but also the love he gave and the joy he brought to those around him. Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we can find comfort in knowing that true love never ends.
The memories, lessons, laughter, and kindness Bub leaves behind will continue to live on through each of us. His life made a difference, and his presence will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, may we honor Bub by loving deeply, forgiving freely, and living each day with gratitude.
Graveside Service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Lost City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hart Funeral Home on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 5 PM until 7 PM.
Rest peacefully Bub. You will always be loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
