With a heavy heart yet a spirit full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the remarkable life of Brenda Joyce Lane, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to many. Brenda's journey began on January 15, 1945, and reached its peaceful end on July 30, 2024, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, Brenda was a beacon of strength and resilience. She found joy in life's simple pleasures - from her passion for crocheting and to her love for dancing and music. Brenda loved watching Westerns, and enjoyed her cooking shows. Brenda's impact was immense, having raised seven children single-handedly, at one point working three jobs to care for them, this showcased her fierce determination and boundless love. From this, it made her a jack of all trades.
A service honoring Brenda's life will be held at Hart Funeral Home on August 5, 2024, at 10:00 am. This ceremony will serve as a testament to the incredible legacy Brenda leaves behind, a legacy marked by her hard work, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents- biological father Floy Parker and adoptive father Earl Williams, mother Lola Williams; one brother- Wendell Parker, and one sister- Beverly Terrell.
Brenda will forever be remembered by her children - Joseph Nevitt, David Nevitt, Tonia Langley (Stephen), Christine Lane, Earlene Lane; two grandchildren she raised as her own - Joseph Lowrey (Betty), and Sarah Marie Davis. Her memory will also be carried forward by her siblings, Meryl Parker (Thelma), Sherry Bosh (Mike), Rebecca Johnson, Donny Williams (Kathy), Leonard Williams (Jim), Larry Joe Parker, and Ramona Long. Additionally, Brenda will be cherished by her 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In honoring Brenda's wishes, her earthly remains will undergo cremation.
Let us come together to celebrate the life of Brenda Joyce Lane, a woman whose love knew no bounds and whose spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts. Her memory will live on through the joy she brought into our lives, and the love she shared so generously with all who knew her.
