Carla Mcguire

Carla June McGuire the daughter of Deward Carter and Lucille (Thompson) Poor was born January 13, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 20, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 7 days.

Carla enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time watching movies, listening to music, going out to eat and just being surrounded by her family. One of her favorite things was to load up with Marvin when he had a long haul and ride along. She loved being with her family. She loved animals of all kinds. Carla was a kind and sweet person and touched many lives over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Marvin McGuire of the home; her daughters Sherry Harris of Muskogee, Alisha Adamson of Tahlequah and Paige Cochran and husband Matthew of Tahlequah; her sister Paula Girdner of Tahlequah; and her grandchildren Bailey and Brannon McGuire of Muskogee. Many other relatives and friends also survive her.
