Carmen Hogshooter

Carmen Kay Hogshooter (Mouse) of Cookson, OK passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2021, in Stilwell, OK at the age of 50. She was born on November 25, 1970, the daughter of Sam and Connie Mouse.

Carmen was a daughter, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. She was a hard worker and a very strong woman and had an even bigger heart. Carmen loved spending time with her family and friends. She would make sure no one went without and would do anything to help anyone especially her family. Carmen's two sons and five grandchildren meant everything to her, and she loved to spoil them. No words can explain how much she will be missed by everyone, but especially by her sons.

Dear Momma,

I can't tell you how much I miss you and love you. I wish I could just talk to you one last time, so I could tell you how much I love you and appreciate you for being such a great, beautiful, caring Mother, then I'd give you a great big hug and never let go. I'm at peace now, knowing you're not scared or suffering anymore. It's still hard to process, but I know that you'll be there everyday, watching over me, cheering me on every step of the way. Either it be big or little I'll never stop making you proud and there will never be a day that you're not on my mind. I love you to the moon and back. Until we meet again.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Connie Mouse, and her granddaughter Denver Hogshooter.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children, Dustin Hogshooter, Cody and Sophie Hogshooter, Grandchildren, Amaeya, Denver, Delilah, Daisy, and Haddie, Nieces, Nicole Mouse, Devan Mouse, and Kenlea Henson, Nephews, Terry Markham, Darius Mouse, Elijah Mouse and Weston Henson, Siblings, Kenny Henson, Melvin Mouse, Stephanie Mouse, and Melanie Mouse. Numerous family and friends who also survive her.
