Carmensita Johnson

Carmensita Claranita Renee' Johnson aka "CC" "Carm" "Cita" "Honey Dew", the daughter of Henry Johnson Sr. and Minerva (Gahagans) Wilson was born January 10, 1961, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 24, 2022, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Carmensita enjoyed life, loved her family and the Lord. She enjoyed cooking, singing, sewing and arts and crafts. She enjoyed getting out, especially going to Wal-Mart. Her passion and love was taking care of kids. Though she didn't have any of her own she was very involved in the raising of Nicholas, Brandon, Jessica, James, Shannon, Shaun, Kaiden, Harmoni, Terrell, Dr. LeShay, Dalana, Danitra, Jacari, Tyrone, Josh, Natosha, Ashawna, Misha, Nicole, Carter, Malakai, Jeremiah, Akara, Jaleel, Alexis, Kyndin, Jamen, Gabriel, Kaylee, Keyaira, Andre and the last baby she met, Lyric. She loved her family dearly and she touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father Harold Bud Cooper Jr; her grandmothers Minnie Johnson and Minerva Clatterbuck Gahagans; her grandfather Loren Gahagans; her siblings Deloris Wilson, Elmer Wilson, and Tyrone Wilson Sr., her uncles Robert Gandy, John Gandy, Ernest Johnson and her aunt Betty Johnson Keys; her sister-in-law Molloy Wilson; her nephews Robert & James Wilson and her niece Talanda Taylor-Wilson.

She is survived by a loving family which includes Jesse Wilson of Kansas City, MO, Danny (Janice) Wilson of Tahlequah, Joe (Sandra) Wilson of Ft. Gibson, Troy Wilson of Tahlequah, Ricky (Sherron) Wilson of Catoosa, Harold Cooper III of Tahlequah, Corinthians (Darryl) Nelson of Tahlequah, Sherry (Daniel) Brown of Kansas City, MO, and Henry (Gayla) Johnson Jr. of Bakersfield, CA. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
