Carol Johnson

Carol Sue Johnson the daughter of Vernon and Lela (Walters) Lawson was born June 27, 1941 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 26, 2015 in Park Hill, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years and 3 months.

Carol enjoyed crafts, and making floral arrangements. She absolutely loved fishing and would rather be fishing than doing anything else. The one thing that she loved more than fishing was her family and spending time with her family.
Carol touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Maurice King Johnson; and her brothers Vernon (Junior) Lawson Jr. and Billy Ray Lawson.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Keith Johnson and wife Samantha of Tahlequah, Kimberly Wallington and Kevin Johnson both of Park Hill; her sisters-in-law Lara Bee Miller, Darnetta Brown and
Barbara Lawson; her grandchildren Phillip Wortmann, Rollin Wortmann, Shelby Johnson, Jake Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Kody Mouse, Jamie Wright, Stan Adamson and Lacy; her lifelong friend of over 50 years Harriett Coy and
7 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
