Vian, OK Visitation for Carol Louise Southard will be held from 1:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Sunday August 10, 2014 at Hart Funeral Home 1506 N. Grand Ave Tahlequah, OK. Graveside services will be held Tuesday August 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at 1423 Cemetery Rd. Ft. Gibson, OK. The celebration of life service will follow at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday August 12, 2014 at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2000 S. Kerr Blvd. Hwy 59, Sallisaw, OK. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests that Remembrances be made to Trinity Lutheran Church building fund in Sallisaw, OK.


Carol Louise Southard, 80, passed away on August 6, 2014 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Bill Southard of Vian, OK and four daughters Janet Barnes and Judy Borges of Bentonville, AR, Jeri Southard of Winchester, KY and Jayne Pack of Knoxville, TN a brother Roy Gotzman of Eugene, OR and 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Caroline Gotzman of Ellsworth, WI, a granddaughter Jonni Elizabeth Pack and a great grandson Ryan Allen Ivy.
Carol was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sallisaw, OK. Her faith and family were most important to her. She loved cooking, gardening, playing dice and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
