Charles Forrest

Charles Andrew Forrest the son of Elzie and Hazel (Watkins) Forrest was born March 15, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 6, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 11 months and 28 days.

Charles enjoyed being outdoors on the farm. He was a rancher by trade and loved raising cattle and taking care of them. He was a member of the Young Farmers of America growing up and continued to support young farmers and FFA throughout the years. Charles was a simple man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and became extremely fond of his great nieces and nephews. Charles loved going to church and would be the first one there and the last to leave. His love for God and family he tried to pass down through his nieces and nephews and instill a since of integrity and hard work in them. Charles touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his mother Hazel Forrest of Tulsa; his brother Alfred Forrest and wife Patti of Tulsa; his nieces Dawney Davis and husband Brian and Deanna Forrest all of Tulsa; his nephew Adam Forrest and wife Meri of Colcord; his cherished great nieces and nephews Eli, Tyler, Emma, Amber and Brittany; and his great-great nieces Haidnce and Abbi and his great-great nephew Luke. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.
