Charles Eugene Harvey

Charles Eugene Harvey, 74, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at Northeastern Health Systems.

Mr. Harvey was born March 26, 1952, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to the late Howard Noel Harvey and Nina Mae Stevens Harvey. He attended Tahlequah Public Schools.

He married Debbie Whitley, October 8, 1971, in Peggs, Oklahoma.

Mr. Harvey was a welder most of his life, working at several different companies.

From time to time, he attended Peggs Community Church.

During his spare time, he enjoyed riding and breaking horses and playing cards. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Whitley Harvey of Hulbert; daughters, Dana Harvey and Michelle Gregory and her husband, Kevin, all of Eufaula; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six brothers, Harl Harvey, Austin Harvey, Conley Harvey, Ivan Harvey, Robert Harvey and Keith Harvey; one sister, Carol Ann “Sissy” Spradlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Billy and Nadine Whitley and his sister-in-law, Diann Stacy.

Services will be Friday, July 24, 2026, 11:00 AM, at Peggs Community Church in Peggs, Oklahoma.
