Charles Frederick Keim was born on April 17, 1951 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Buddy and Maxine Keim. He passed peacefully into his eternal, heavenly home on December 7, 2020, at the age of 69 years old.
Charlie graduated with the McClain High School Class of 1969. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at Oklahoma Baptist University and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In 1970 he met the love of his life, Glenda Jean Ashcraft. The two were married six weeks later on June 26th. This past summer they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Together they raised three children and proudly became grandparents to 9 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and
2 great grandsons.
Charlie was a faithful follower of Christ and dedicated his life to loving God and others. For over 50 years he shared the love of Jesus. He was a pastor for 34 years, a full time evangelist for 16 years and served on mission trips throughout the world.
Those who hold many of his cherished memories and whom he leaves behind include: His loving wife of 50 years, Glenda. His children, David Keim of Brenham, Texas, His daughter Jeanie McSherry and husband Matt of Bixby, OK, His son Rodger Keim and wife Diane of Sand Springs, OK. His grandchildren, Laramie Keim, Samuel Keim, Sawyer Keim, Mason Keim, Dawson Keim, Luke McSherry and wife Kylee, Malachi McSherry, Elijah McSherry and fiance Lauren Keys, John Keim, and Lillie Keim. Great Grandsons, Cooper and Carson McSherry.
Charlie loved people and sharing the Gospel all over the world. He loved fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. His love of life was contagious and the impact of his words and his servant heart will be felt for eternity..
