Charles Smith

Charles Chock Smith the son of Ola James and Wilma Armanda Goodnight Smith was born February 13, 1939 in Welling, Oklahoma and departed this life on August 29, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 16 days.

Chock enjoyed life and loved his family. He loved spending time with his grandkids whether just playing with them or teaching them something about the farm. He enjoyed working in the hay and has cut, raked and baled many a bale over the years. He loved horses and just enjoyed riding, but he also enjoyed roping. He enjoyed getting together with friends and family and just roping. Chock had a good time no matter the circumstances. He touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Norma Smith of the home his children Donita Spencer and husband Doyal of Tahlequah, Edward Lee Smith of Skelly, Pamela Hix and husband Mark of Drycreek and Ricky Smith of Drycreek his sister Lorene Johnson of Welling his brother Bobby Smith and wife Paula of Wauhila 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 greatgreat grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
