Charles Vann

Charles Lyman Vann, Jr. of Wagoner, OK passed away on October 20, 2021, in Muskogee, OK at the age of 73. Charles was born on November 17, 1947, the son of Charles Lyman Vann, Sr. and Elsie Bell (Nelson) Vann in Tahlequah, OK.

He married the love of his wife, Bonnie (Heter) Vann and together they had one daughter, Marcia Vann.

He was retired but had worked in a foundry in his early years and then hung drywall. He spent his free time making bows/arrows, shooting at cornstalk shoots and going hunting. He was very athletic throughout his life in football, archery clubs, softball, coaching basketball/softball and bowling.

He was preceded in death by: His dad Lyman Vann, mother Elsie Bell Vann, sisters, Linda Vann & Margaret Ann Youngdog.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife; Bonnie Vann, daughter Marcia Vann, sisters Arlena Christie, Deborah Cuenca and husband Donnie, brother Michael Vann , grandchildren Beth Hansen, Travis Klotzke, Kori Klotzke, Brooke Klotzke, 11 great grandchildren Jhon ,Summer, Gracey, Kelcey, Vanille, Russell, Yona, John, William, Alaina, Isabell and many numerous extended relatives and friends.
