Chuck Workman the son of Robert Lee and Betty (Myers) Workman was born September 3, 1953 in Cody, Wyoming and departed this life on November 27, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Chuck enjoyed life, talking, and telling stories. Chuck attended Tahlequah High School and took an interest in farming and raising cattle. He was an active member of FFA, earning his State FFA Degree. Alongside raising cattle, he also enjoyed raising bottle calves for many years. His dad opened Workman's Department Store on May 10, 1968 and Chuck has continued the family business, and if he wasn't at the Store he was working on his farm. He enjoyed big game hunting and took many trips to Colorado, Wyoming, and Alaska hunting elk, mule deer, bears and turkeys. The Store and farm is what he loved but he also enjoyed hearing about all his grandkids activities and accomplishments. He wanted to know everything about whatever they were doing whether it was showing livestock, playing sports or riding bulls. Chuck touched many lives over the years in and out of the store and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Workman and the mother of his children Geneva Hall.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his three girls Jeannie Bunch and companion Michael Cravens of Tahlequah, Latosha Steeley of Tahlequah, and Angie Cook and husband James of Hulbert; his mother Betty Workman of Tahlequah; his sister Robbie Lankford of Tahlequah; his grandchildren Caden, Coda, Jaxon, Cannon, Savannah, Adison, Casen and Walker; and his great granddaughter Rozlynn. Along with numerous friends and other relatives who love him dearly.
