Charles Young

Charles Everett Young, 84, passed away on November 3, 2024, in his home at Go Ye Village in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was born September 25, 1940, in Carmen, Oklahoma, to Roscoe and Gladys Young. He got married right out of high school to Jonnie (Smith) Young, and they started a family including daughters, Myrhenda and Gary Lehl of Alva, Marica and John Permenter of Oklahoma City, and a son, Rodney and Vanessa Young of Tahlequah. Also, one sister, Phylis Hager of Stafford, Kansas. He was a wonderful grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He also had many numerous nieces and nephews that were a major part of his life as well.

Although he lived in Tahlequah until his departure, his home was really in the field working his farm or raising cattle. He was the hardest working, family loving man that could ever be asked for. His greatest achievement was giving his life to the Lord late in his life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
