Charlotte Flute

March 14, 1950 — February 18, 2024

Born on March 14, 1950, to Eucha and Mary Jane (Coon) Galcatcher at home in the Rocky Mountain Community in Adair County, Stilwell OK.

Charlotte went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 18, 2024, at the age of 73 years. Charlotte was the granddaughter of Lee and Leona (Cloud) Galcatcher and Joe Sr and Nancy (Campbell) Coon.

Charlotte attended grade school at Rocky Mountain Elementary School from kindergarten to 8th grades and then she attended Cave Springs High School.

In 1975 Charlotte began her employment with the Tenkiller Grade School System, through the years to 2002. She and Norman met a lot of wonderful people who became like family, they cherished their years with the Tenkiller School family, a lot of wonderful, fun and funny memories were made and cherished.

On June 8, 1986, at the age of 36 years old, Charlotte accepted Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Savior at Sycamore Tree Baptist Church, where she and Norman had become members, and where Norman served as song leader, and where Charlotte served as Church Clerk, WMU Leader, and Youth Sunday School Teacher. Then in 2002 they moved into the Wahiliu Community and became members at Echota Baptist Church, where they served faithfully until their health began to fail them, and on November 11, 2004, the Lord called her beloved Norman home.

Charlotte was full of loud laughter, silly humor, a true jokester, and was just full of fun and life. Through her sickness she praised her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Charlotte was a true prayer warrior, a woman of faith, and she encouraged to always put Jesus first.
