Chase Cape

Chase Glen Cape the son of Chris Cape and Traci (Newsome) Cape was born April 23, 1993 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 13, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 23 years, 1 month and 21 days.

Chase was a fun loving, hardworking guy who enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time out on the Lake boating, wakeboarding or bow fishing. He loved driving fast and hot roddin' his cars. He could drift anything including Eddie's truck. He lived the "Jeep Life", right after he had bought his Jeep he was in the mud trying to get stuck. He said "it's just money, you can make more tomorrow". Chase had a plan that required winning the lottery, but if he ever did then he was buying the Betsy-B. He loved his girlfriend Leah and enjoyed spending time with her. Chase loved his job and all of his co-workers. Chase's motto was FISH and that's how his life was lived. He touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chase is survived by a loving family which includes his girlfriend Leah Smith of Tahlequah; his parents Chris Cape and wife Andrea of Tahlequah and Traci Cape and husband Eddie Alaniz of Wylie, TX; his brother Dustin Cape and Breanna Duncan of Tahlequah; his twin brother Chad Cape and fiancé Shannen Mickelson of Broken Arrow; his sister Lacy Alaniz of Houston, TX; his grandmother Donna Phillips of Tahlequah; his grandparents Jerry and Lyn Cape of San Diego, CA; his uncle Gary Stephens and wife Mandy of Park Hill; his aunts Jody Dallis of Tahlequah and Janez Worster of Arizona; a very special friend Brian Berry of Tahlequah; his niece Glory Cape; and his nephews Easton Russell, Parker Alaniz and Ryan Junior. Numerous cousins, friends and other relatives also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Cape, Chad Cape, Justin Stephens, Dakota Hiatt, Jackson Smith and Jerrod Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Drake Hayworth, Robert Kohne, Devin Ashing, Kyle Eller, Blake McClure, Daylan Shaw, Damien Hickman, Shawn Eller, Luke Barthel, Will Murray, Hunter Daniels, Jake Shockley, Robert Shafer, Michael Shafer, Joshua Dryden, Brian Berry and Zach Weeks.
