Christine Mckinney

September 29, 1936 — September 2, 2014

Christine Y. Price Smith McKinney, age 77 went to Glory on September 2, 2014 after battling a lengthy illness in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

She was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on September 29, 1936.

She was an OBGYN RN in Medford, Oregon and spent time as a cook at the DeQueen High School in DeQueen, Arkansas and then returned to nursing as a certified Respiratory Therapist and certified to do Brain Scans at the DeQueen Hospital in DeQueen, Ark. She later became cofounder of Grief Support, member of First Responders, DEM Disaster Environmental Management and Storm Chasers in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents William A. Price and Edith L. McHargue Price formerly of Broken Bow, Ok and Central Point, Oregon, brother WilliamBilly Price, her husband Leroy Smith, Jr of DeQueen, Ark and one daughter, Kristi L Smith Hosier formerly of DeQueen, Ark.

She is survived by one sister, Frances W. Noah of Eugene, Oregon, a brother GailChuckPrice of Fruitland, Idaho, daughter and soninlaw Karen R. Smith VanHoose and Terry VanHoose of Hulbert Oklahoma, daughter and soninlaw Kathy L and Dirk Stone of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, one son and daughterinlaw Kirt G and Tammy Smith of Tahlequah, Ok. Four grandsons Shawn Leach and wife Kelsey of Minneola, Ks Richard L Smith and wife Andrea of Owasso, Okla, Kenneth R.Pete Smith of Springdale, Ark and Kirt W.Will Smith of Springdale, Ark. She had five great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her smile and laughter will be missed by all.
