Christopher Compton

Christopher Earl Compton the son of Chris and Emma (Moore) Compton was born November 29, 1995 in Claremore, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 2, 2020 in Park Hill, Oklahoma at the age of 24 years, 3 months and 2 days.Christopher was a brilliant, enthusiastic young man who loved his family dearly. All who knew him know how unique and exceptional he was, and how much joy he brought to the world. Christopher loved making others laugh, and enjoyed reading, video games, music, and studying science and philosophy. He had a passion for learning - and was studying languages and learning to cook more recently. Christopher was very humble and never bragged about his intelligence. He graduated at the top of his class from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study Neuroscience. Helping others was his heart's desire, he lived his life doing all he could to share his knowledge and light. Christopher's life touched many hearts over the years and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jimmy and JoAnn Moore.He is survived by a loving family which includes his parents Chris and Emma Compton of Welling; his sisters Brittany Compton of Tahlequah, Gabrielle Compton of Kansas City, Tori Compton of Tulsa and Claire Compton of Tahlequah; his paternal grandparents Ron Compton of Tulsa and Kat "Mimi" Keim of Tulsa; his nieces and nephews Lukas, Khloe, Rylie, and baby Christian. Several uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and other relatives also survive him.
