Clarence Mahaney

Clarence Edward Mahaney the son of Clarence and Mary K. Conrad Mahaney was born on February 21, 1944 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 16, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Eddie loved life and enjoyed using his musical talents to entertain and perform throughout his life. He was a very talented musician and could play and sing just about anything. He spent most of his musical career in California before moving back to Tahlequah. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Eddie touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather Nelson Hively; brothers Jimmy Hively and Robert Lee Mahaney; and his sisters Margaret Ann Mahaney and Joyce Ann Julian.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children Kimberly Gates, Rodney Mahaney, Clancy Mahaney and Bradley Mahaney all of California; his sisters Donna Toney of Oktaha, Sherri Poteet of Marietta, Jan White of Pauls Valley, Laurel Mahaney of Tahlequah and Barbara Mahaney-Stephens of Tahlequah; his brothers Ken Hively of Tahlequah, David Mahaney of Moore, and Ronnie Mahaney of Little Kansas; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive him.
