Clayton Sellers

March 18, 1931 — December 11, 2023

Clayton Lawrence Sellers went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2023. He was born to Leon and Delpha Sellers in Welling, Oklahoma, was 92 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ruby Green, his sister Lorene Adams, his daughter Gail Smith, his grandson Derek Smith and his granddaughterin-law Alisha Sellers. He is survived by his children Cathy (Mark) Barum, Karen Sellers, Regina Struble, Janis (Glen) Davis, Randy (Cindy) Sellers, Kay (Jerry) Fridley, and Renee (Dennis) Cage; survived by 21 grandchildren: Miranda (Matt) Sellers, Jaime (Keith) Genereau, Kimberly (Rick) Watson, Jeremy (Raygan) Jackson, Nathan (Meagan) Davis, Jon (Angel) Davis, Brandi (David) Whatley, Jerod (Jessica) Sellers, Amy (Beau) Fore, Tiffany (Jonathan) Hatley, Alyssa (Matt) Horlick, Garrett (Lauren) Horlick, J (Myrna) Fridley, Tyler Fridley, Kalla (Andrew) Schull, Bosten (Hannah) Fridley, Kennedy (Tyre) Dinwiddie, Blayne (Veronica) Smith, Krysten Smith, Shannon (Aaron) George, and Bryan (Shawna) Cage and survived by 43 great grandchildren: Trevyr Woods, Sydney Brown, Kaleb Garcia, Tyler Garcia, Dylan Watson, Ryder Jackson, Jase Jackson, Reid Davis, Tucker Davis, Kade Davis, Ayden Davis, Paige Whatley, Knox Whatley, Kaid Sellers, Koe Sellers, Elizabeth Fore, Adalyn Fore, Anderson Hatley, Kendall Hatley, Carter Hatley, Julien Ewalt, Bennie Fridley, Sawyer Fridley, Ciaran Fridley, Leo Schull, Lyla Schull, Layne Schull, Osage Dinwiddie, Miller Dinwiddie, Cash Smith, Brooks Smith, Hannah Smith, Jeremias Vargas, Allison York, Alex Ayala, Danny Branscomb, Brady Branscomb, Olivia Smith, Austin Weidower, Ryan Weidower, Kyle George, Kory George, and Kody George.

He is also survived by his brother Albert Sellers as wells as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

 Clayton served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed his time teaching elementary school for several years and pastoring several churches over several decades. His church family meant a great deal to him and he loved our Lord, seldom missing a time to attend. He was also willing to help whenever and wherever he knew of a need. He also felt right at home with his cows and horses which he had for most of his life except in the last few years. He will be greatly missed.

Memorial Service will be Friday, December 15, 2023, 1:30 PM, at Camp Robertson Tabernacle in Welling, Oklahoma, by Hart Funeral Home.
