Clebern Baker the son of Arthur and Gladys (Denny) Baker was born December 16, 1934, in Nicut, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 3, 2023, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years, and 18 days.
Clebern married the love of his life, Maebelle Shahan on December 1, 1953. They together made a home, just north of Tahlequah. Clebern was a Master Builder. He built many houses and commercial buildings throughout Northeastern Oklahoma. He designed, drew the plans, and built the church that is now Generations Church. He taught vocational carpentry for 15 years for Oaks & Little Kansas High Schools. Many of his students went on to successful careers in carpentry. However, for most of his career he operated his own business called Custom Builders where he built custom cabinets and furniture for residential and commercial buildings. Clebern loved the Lord and served him daily. He was a man of honor and integrity who touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Arthur Eugene Baker and Bobby Joe Baker; and his great-grandson KJ Rowe.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife of over 69 years Maebelle Baker of the home; his daughters Brenda Cheryl Legier and husband Allen of Tahlequah and LaDonna Ashburn and husband Don of Edmond, his brother Edward Baker and wife Connie of Nicut; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
