Darcy Velia

Darcy Lyn Velia the daughter of Ronald and Marcia (Green) Velia was born January 10, 1968, in Newfane, New York and departed this life on April 5, 2019, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 26 days.

Darcy loved life and she loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Darcy was a simple lady who enjoyed a simple life. She collected Precious Moments and Snow Globes, and she loved her cat. She enjoyed watching Tyler Perry movies, Supernatural and Riverdale. She was an avid Yankees fan, and she enjoyed an evening out at the casino now and then. She enjoyed being outdoors, and she loved to watch the hummingbirds as they would feed on the feeders that she had for them. Darcy touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her brother Todd Velia.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her parents Ronald and Marcia Velia of Peggs; her spouse Sonny Cochran of Peggs; her children Cherish Duffield and husband Richard of New York, Ronald Brege and wife Samantha of Chouteau, Shawn Sundown and Shana Sundown both of Tahlequah; her brother Robert Velia and wife Robin of Moore; her grandchildren Chase, Adam, Zarren, Jaycie, Camden, Kayleigh, Kai, Adalyn, Maddox and SJ; and her great grandchildren Alexandra, Skylar and Alex. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
