Darrick Antwine

Darrick Dion Antwine was called home by God on Saturday June 23, 2018 at the Butner Medical Hospital in North Carolina. Darrick was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on June 9, 1976. The son of Edgar Jr, and Gwen Antwine (Keys). They had 2 other sons together: Jamaun (now deceased) and Miron . A brother John Mark Keys by mother Gwen. He had a god sister named Ashley Boykins.
Darrick was raised in Muskogee Oklahoma and attended Muskogee Public Schools. He became a member of the Antioch Baptist Church August 1985 and baptized by Pastor Noble. Darrick received his GED while in prison along with 2 certificates in masonry and electrician.

Darrick loved his family and especially liked time spent with the younger nieces, nephew and cousins. He was always making sure the kids got what they needed. He loved washing and detailing cars and riding the motorcycle. He had a small auto detail business. Darrick just loved having fun with family and friends around him.

Darrick is preceded in death by: brother : Jamaun D. Antwine, grandfather: Edgar Sr. Antwine, grandmother: Mary Keys, grandfather: Noble Johnson, uncles: James Johnson and John Johnson, Marvin Keys, Leroy Keys, Isiah Keys, George Jr, Keys. aunt: Mildred Campbell plus more uncles and relatives.

He leaves behind him to cherish for memory: dad, Ed Antwine of Muskogee, mother, Gwen Keys of Oklahoma/Kansas, brothers: Miron Antwine Sr. of Leavenworth Kansas, John Mark Keys of El Reno Ok God sister: Ashley Boykins of North Carolina

Children: Demariaun J. Antwine and Travion L. Antwine ( Michelle Barrett) of Warner Okla. Kyndryk D. Carey ( Alyssia Carey)of Tahlequah, Jeremiah W. Jarrett ( Cora Jarrett) of Muskogee Okla.
Nephews: Miron Jr. Antwine of Muskogee Okla., Byron Antwine of Warner Okla, Jamuan Jr and Taylor Shelley of Tahlequah, Dmontre Johnson of Muskogee, Tyler Chambers of Broken Arrow.
Nieces: Arielle Antwine and Alexis Antwine, Imani Hummingbird, Angelina of Tahlequah, Abby , Kynzi Antwine , Mya Antwine all of Tahlequah, and Andrea Burrows of Tulsa.
Aunts : Classie Antwine , Gracie Antwine, Sallie Mott all of Tulsa Okla., Shirley(Larry) Mayo of Muskogee Okla., Dora Bell of Tahlequah, Charlene White of Stilwell, Shirley Ray, Norma Keys, Sandra Todd all of Tulsa, Okla., Deborah of Broken Arrow, Tammy ( Alvin)Becknell of Tulsa, Pamela Patricia of Georgia, Carla Gandy of Louisiana, Doreatha (Ron) Edmonson of California.l

Uncles: Melvin (Connie) Antwine , Glendale Antwine both Tulsa Okla., Leonard Antwine of Muskogee, Earl Wayne Antwine of Louisiana, and a host of cousins and friends that loved him.
For Darrick D. Antwine the journey is beginning, but for us there is loss, grief, and pain. All of us here have had our lives touched him. Let's all begin the healing here and now and forever with family and friends.
