Debra Beshears

Debra Lee Beshears the daughter of Harold Ray Potts Sr. and Lorene Mardelle (Routien) Mott was born March 26, 1957 in Chicago Heights, Illinois and departed this life on June 26, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years and 3 months.

Debra heard the call of the Lord, Jesus Christ, in 1973. It was this faith that sustained her throughout her life. She enjoyed photography, basket weaving and reading. She enjoyed life and loved to capture it with her camera. Debra touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a loving family which includes her sons Michael Beshears and fiancé Dawn Strahan of Lake Charles, LA, and Jacob Skinner and fiancé Sansha Thornburg of Claremore; her sisters Raydelle Hensley and husband John of Muskogee, Karen Robinson and husband Jimmy of Bunch and Vicki Hall and husband Wiley Sr. of Tahlequah; her brother Harold Potts Jr. and wife Teresa of Humble, TX; her grandchildren Gabby Beshears and Alex Beshears; and a special friend Jimmy Prater. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Wood Manor Nursing Center in Claremore and to the Hospice of Green Country staff in Tulsa for their compassionate care of Debra.
