Delpha Mae Harvey the daughter of Mose Monroe and Lydia Barsha (Hobbs) Doyle was born December 17, 1937, in Ballou, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 24, 2020, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 7 days.
Delpha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and was mom to more than just her own children. Cooking was her passion, and everyone loved her cooking. She made the best Cathead biscuits, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, chili beans and cornbread and pancakes. Nobody could fry up deer and squirrel quite like her. She enjoyed a game of pitch here and there and playing dominoes. She loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. Delpha loved baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She made an impression on many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Wesley Doyle and Robert Doyle; her sister Alpha Lavada Palmer; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband of over 63 years, Loyd Wimp Harvey; her children Patty Cole and husband Bobby of Peggs, Alan Harvey and wife Kim of Pumpkin Hollow, Janice Hendrix and Ken Maggard of Peggs, Claretta Grimes and husband Teddy of Pryor, Alpha Harvey and Paul Dollarhide of Peggs and Diane Harless and husband David of Peggs; her brothers Wayne Doyle and wife Lois of Tahlequah, and Thomas Doyle of Pryor; her sisters Reba Harvey of Peggs and Louise Barrington and husband Dale of Peggs; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
