DeSean Kosterlitzky

DeSean Johnathan Kosterlitzky, also known as "Bub" and "Baby", passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 21.

DeSean was born April 28, 2004, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He lived a full life filled with love, laughter, and compassion for everyone he ever met, especially his family, babies, and best friend, Nova Jo. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms.

DeSean loved anything outside, especially hunting, fishing, baseball, and watching the sunset. He succeeded in any and everything he set his mind to. His dream was to drive Semi-trucks (tractor trailers) and travel the world.

DeSean is survived by his best friend and life companion, Rikki Griggs; daughters, Juniper "June Bug", Everleigh, Meadow, and Emmery; mother, Misty Harrison and her husband, Mickey; sister, Alyssa "Sis" Ashley; stepdad, Jeremy Ashley; niece, NovaLynn Ashley; grandparents, Barbara "Granny" Jumper, Eddie "Papa" Scott, and Brenda Kay; aunts, Janetta "Netta" Jumper, Milissa "Meme" Echols, Stephanie "Steph" Whaler, and Rachel Kosterlitzky; great-aunt, Dianna Bird; great-uncle and aunt, Matthew Jumper and his wife, Lori; and a host of cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Kosterlitzky; uncles, Chester and Adam Poole and Wesley Bird; and his favorite dogs, Daisy and Frosty.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 16, 2025, 1:00 PM, at New Life Worship Center. Burial will follow at Tahlequah City Cemetery.
