Donald Dean Ogle, 88, passed away peacefully at his youngest daughter's home, on February 25,2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on October 7,1937 in Claremore, OK.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM, Friday, March 6, 2026 at Johnson Prairie Baptist Church. There will be no public visitation.

He is survived by his children: Gene Ogle (Sue) of Kansas, Oklahoma; Ginger Lankford (Bobby) of Tahlequah; Mitchell Ogle (Vickie) of Tahlequah; and Melissa Marzullo (Jason) of Tahlequah. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe and Geneva Mae Ogle; his brothers, James, Roger, Russell, and Dennis; and his sister, Sue Greer.

Donald lived a life defined by hard work, service, and community involvement. During high school, he spent three summers working in Nebraska. He later volunteered for the draft and served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, including service in Germany, where he learned to operate heavy equipment. His career took him to several states while working for Paddock Pools, including Indiana, Kansas, Colorado, and Branson, Missouri. He went on to work for the Cherokee Nation for 24 years in community development.

He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, gardening, looking for wild onions and mushrooms, and working outdoors. Donald also valued time spent fishing with family and friends, attending auctions, and helping others by providing commodity groceries. He was a longtime member of Grace Chapel near Liberty. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and watching football.

Donald will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, resilience, and warm, unmistakable smile.
