Dorothy Ireland

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Dorothy "Downing" Ireland. Dorothy was born in Claremore, Oklahoma to Ruby Downing, and passed away on Thursday April 7th, 2022 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 75. She gave her life to the Lord at a very young age, and was a strong believer in her work with the Lord. She was a homemaker most of her life. She liked to watch TV when she could. Dorothy worked at Hastings hospital most of her life until retirement. She married Clifford and had two children.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, her parents Ruby Downing and stepfather Jack Proctor, as well as her brother Jackie Proctor and one grandson James. She is survived by one brother, Jarvis Proctor of Jay, OK, one son Stan Ireland of Tahlequah, OK, one daughter Erma Sawney and two granddaughters Angel and Jade of Tahlequah, OK. She is also survived by cousins, extended family and friends.
