Dorothy Young

Dorothy Ann Young the daughter of Homer Jacob and Madie Ann (Bryant) Robbins was born March 19, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas and departed this life on September 24, 2018 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 5 days.

Dorothy loved life and she loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved to bake cakes and she had a collection of cook books. She was a homemaker and she wanted to make sure that everyone felt at home in her home. She also collected Avon bottles and they should be worth something someday. Dorothy loved her family and she enjoyed spending time with all of them. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Loyd Scott Young; her granddaughter Vicki Jennings; and 8 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Margaret Jennings and husband Ed of Westville and Alan Young and wife Lulu of Westville; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
