Douglas Geasland

Doug was born in Okmulgee, OK on February 4th, 1953 to parents Bob and Ruby. Services will be held at the Tahlequah Cemetery on Tuesday July 8th at 10:00 am. Pallbearers include David Geasland, Ray Whitney, Mike Rozell, Scott Crawford, Matt Smith and Nick McClure.

Doug will be remembered as a honest hardworking yet kind and generous man. He was passionate for: a love of hunting and fishing, a funny story, and an innate ability to make children smile. He relished any chance to spend time with a varied cast of friends and family. Whether it was hanging with his breakfast club or fishing with his grandchildren, it was bound to be fun for all. Standing next to Doug through his array of adventures was his bestfriend Vickie, his loving wife of 24 plus years.
Doug is preceded in death by his father Bob. He is survived by companion Vickie, mother Ruby, bother David, and niece Denae. He leaves his legacy in two sons Dustin and Derek and two stepsons Jessie and Jackson Purcell. Doug was most blessed with four grandchildren Grayson, Lawson, Kinsey and Paxon.
