Dustin Hogshooter

Dustin Hogshooter, 33, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Northeastern Health Systems in Tahlequah. He was born on October 19, 1989 in Tahlequah to Marvin Hogshooter and the late Carmen Kay Hogshooter (Mouse).

He was a brother, a son, a father, an uncle, a lover,  a skater, and a musician. Dustin was everyone’s friend. He lived a carefree life and no matter what, he did what he wanted to do. He was the biggest mommas boy. And for some reason he was good at literally anything he did, a man of many talents. If you’ve been around Dustin enough, you know how goofy he was. It was always endless laughs when you were with him. Dustin was so good at skating. He had a clean nollie tre and heel flip. He loved fishing, he never went out and didn’t catch a fish. He had endless raps and endless motivation. He was loved by so many.

I miss you so much already. I would do anything to have one more laugh, one more hug,  or even one more beer with you. Even though you’re older, you’re  always gonna be my little bro. I’m sorry for all the pain you had to endure over the years, but now you can kiss momma and Denver for me and maybe give my dad a noogie too. I’m sure he missed you. Watch over me and the family. I’ll see you one day again. I’ll never stop making you proud and I’ll never let anyone forget you. I love you with all my heart, rest easy.

Graveside Service will be Monday, June 5, 2023 at Agent Cemetery, the family will receive friends from 2 PM until 4 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Sam and Connie Mouse, mother Carmen Hogshooter and daughter Denver Hogshooter.

Dustin is survived by brother Cody Hogshooter and wife Sophie, daughter Amaeya, nieces Delilah, Daisy, Haddie Hogshooter, cousins Nicole Mouse, Devan Mouse, Darius Mouse, Terry Markham, Elijah Mouse, Kenlea and Weston Henson, father Marvin Hogshooter, aunts and uncles Stephanie Mouse, Melanie Mouse, Kim Mouse, Melvin Mouse, Kenny Henson, Brandon Phillips, and numerous family and friends.
