Edna Darlene Tinnin the daughter of Leroy Sandlin and Eula Marie (Mullen) Goodman was born October 12, 1952 in Vian, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 17, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 5 days.
Darlene loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed playing dominoes, bingo, doing arts and crafts and coloring. She loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church and singing. She was a member of the Steeley Springs Baptist Church for many years. She was the chairman of the monthly meetings at the Cherokee County Nursing Center. Her favorite thing to do was dress up for the holidays. Darlene touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Billy Bloomer.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Darla Holden and husband Brandon of Tahlequah and Kendra Tinnin of Tahlequah; her sisters Sherry Duty of Sallisaw, Barbara Anson and husband Ron of Sallisaw, Helen Novak and husband Kim of Tahlequah, and Shaunda Johnson of Tahlequah; her grandchildren Macie Sheffield, Madison Sheffield, Malachi Tinnin and Emerson VanBuskirk; a special niece and nephew Lindsey and Hansen Johnson and her dear friend Artist Poole. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
