Elizabeth Pauline Howe the daughter of Barney Mitchell and Norma (Hagan) Mitchell was born January 8, 1935 in Hulbert, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 29, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 81 years and 21days.
Elizabeth loved her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed looking through binoculars at any and everything; she loved flowers and watching hummingbirds. She was a teacher at Lost City School for 36 years. She also enjoyed having picnics by the creek.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Son Samuel Zane Howe; Siblings Barney Mitchell Jr., Bill Mitchell, Willard Mitchell, Ora Lee Cummings and Dorotha Loftin.
She is survived by husband Sam Howe of the home, daughter-in-law Gina Howe of Lost City, OK; grandchildren Samuel Cheyan Howe and wife Keanna of Lost City, OK; Taylor Howe of Welling, OK; Carley Lockaton of Lost City, OK; and Eden Barber of Wagoner, OK. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
